Well that was quite simply amazing! 13 day shoot covering the entire Green Man Festival being built, enjoyed and then dismantled. Met lots of really good people whilst I was there and the sunshine was frankly freaky. The rain started when I came home to the south west!!
I arrived on site the week before the early ticket holders were due to arrive so the site was still being built, most of the main stage structure was complete already but there was still a lot of work to be done. The Big Top arrived shortly after I did so I started the shoot covering the tents being built. After that it was a case of getting around the site each day to cover the progress of the various projects like the Green Man sculpture, Tree House, Nature Nuture, Einstein’s Garden etc. Was amazing to see it all come together.

Lenssniper is off to Green Man Fesitval 2011. I’ll be covering the whole festival this year. Documenting how the site develops leading up to the open, and also sticking around to watch the clean up operation. Really looking forward to it!
Just got back from filming the Wheel of Four Tunes video. Loads of fun. There is even a special appearance by the shy and retiring Mrs Wheel!! Not to be missed, watch this space for more info and links to the final video once edited.
Spaceport is awesome …
I was asked to go a photograph a very cool new venture this weekend. I expected it to be good seeing as I knew the folks involved but I didn’t expect it to be THAT awesome! Very impressive project and executed brilliantly. Photos to follow …

Lens Sniper hooked up with the FromeTV folks to help out filming a lecture given by Dr Bruce Hood on a very interesting topic. Dr Hood was here in Frome as part of the 2011 Frome Festival. Just wished I could have paid more attention to the lecture!
Principle filming on The Claw is now complete. Working on the project was immense fun, the crew and cast were all great to work with. We all had a great time working on a really fun project.
In order to help promote the final few days of the Indiegogo campaign Nathan the director asked me to produce a few production stills to aid the process.

Shooting for the first couple of days is completed, all went well indeed. The first two days shooting took place in Barry Island, specifically in the same amusement arcade where Gavin & Stacey is filmed.
We’re shooting again on Monday, this time we’re heading for Teignmouth Pier & beach.
